What I would do if I found a time machine.

Task: We had to write about what we would do if I, together with my friend found a time machine, but we could only travel twice. There was also another question stating if we would use the second time of travelling to go back home or not.

If me and my friend found a time machine and only travel twice, We would probably revisit the time they changed the system in our elementary school back in the Philippines. Me and my friend had grades in school that got us into the honor class which is called the first section. The first section was a class of smart kids who were afraid of getting a score below 85 (that was the failing score for honor students, but the normal failing score was 75). They took away the first section in my last year at the elementary school which was 6th grade. It was really weird not being in a competition with all the other smart kids because we were split up, but in all honesty me and my friend really like the first section since everyone was like a family in that class (everyone usually knows each other in my old school anyways and we all usually get along). I really want to persuade our school to not take the first section away. We also had this this thing where students who didn’t get a grade below 85 would be given a certificate at a ceremony held every year, me and my friend was part of that group. They changed the system the same year they took out the first section. We had four terms and every term we were graded. You would get an average score on the last term which was an average of all your grades in that specific class. In my 6th grade, you had to get an average of 90 or above in every class. My friend and I got an 89 on our Filipino class (yes Filipino class was really hard) which made us devastated and it ruined our streak of being an honor student every year. Usually every year there are around 40 or more kids who were honor students, there are around 300 something students in my grade in total. When they changed the system, there were only 7 lucky kids who became honor students. Many parents got mad, but later on just forgot about it. So me and my friend would probably persuade the school to not change the system and just stick to the old one. We would then travel back to the year we were originally in.
