Exercise Song

Benefits of exercise song         Task: We needed to take a well known songs and change the lyrics to                                                             turn it into a song about how exercise has many benefits.

Title: I’ll Make A Man Out of You (from Mulan)

Original song:

Let's get down to business, to defeat      the Huns
Did they send me daughters, when I asked for sons?
You're the saddest bunch I ever met
But you can bet before we're through
Mister, I'll make a man out of you
Tranquil as a forest but on fire within
Once you find your center, you are sure to win
You're a spineless, pale, pathetic lot
And you haven't got a clue
Somehow I'll make a man out of you
I'm never gonna catch my breath
Say goodbye to those who knew me
Boy, was I a fool in school for cutting gym
This guy's got 'em scared to death
Hope he doesn't see right through me
Now I really wish that I knew how to swim
Be a man
We must be swift as the coursing river
Be a man
With all the force of a great typhoon
Be a man
With all the strength of a raging fire
Mysterious as the dark side of the moon

Exercise version:

Let’s get down to business, to burn the carbs
Need to go and workout, because it’s great for our hearts
Our brains are needing exercise.
So we can think when we’re at school
Exercise benefits for our lives
Fats are taking over, we need to go to the gy
Playing sports is real fun, you’ll surely be fit
Your heart rate will be boosted
Though you haven’t got a clue
Somehow you’re energised once your through
You will have more stamina
Your hippocampus will be boosted
Decreases the chance of diabetes too
Physical aerobic exercise
Helps at losing weight
Now i really wish that I ate a lot less
Exercise
Perseverance is very important
Exercise
It can improve our mood and sleep
Exercise
It’s really hard to go through the challenge
But I know we can make it through it all!
